Won'tgiveup: Mask
My mask is big
My mask is bold
My face is a puzzle
A story untold
My pain is a mystery
My sufferings unknown
My happiness gleaming
The only face shown
My sorrows are withheld
My fears subdued
My joys always beaming
As many would conclude
My mischief is unnoticed
My agony unresting
My positivity outstanding
To other’s understanding
My misery is dreadful
My battle scars hidden
My faith always pursing
Since others say I’m driven
But what many don’t see
Is I hide behind a mask
Its dark and hidden shadow
Of a painful unbearing past
I just want people to see me
And to know the girl inside
But this masks been worn forever
Its fakeness liked and prized
This mask I’d never dare take off
For weakness would be shown
So I’ll hide behind it with my secrets
Of the true me never known
My mask is big
My mask is bold
Someone please save me
Before my mask becomes a mold.
